COMPLANT held Mechanical Completion Ceremony of Shahjalal Fertilizer Project (SFP) on February 16, 2015, 34 months after the kick-off of the EPC project, marking a major milestone event completion.

SFP is the largest Government-to-Government cooperation project between China and Bangladesh since the bilateral diplomatic ties established 40 years ago. Over the 1044 days and nights since the kick-off, SFP Project Department overcame various unfavorable conditions such as Owner’s delay in land handover, social unrest, climatic anomaly, etc., and finally managed to achieve the mechanical completion within schedule as per the contract, and enter the pre-commissioning phase
