On March 5, 2015, Bangladeshi Minister of Industries Amir Hossain Amu visited the Shahjalal Fertilizer Project construction site.

The delegation inspected the instrument air and utility air system and nitrogen generation station device, and then attended the device start-up ceremony. Mr. Minister expressed his satisfaction with the project progress in an interview with Bangladesh Television. Bangladeshi Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in her Spring Festival speech this year also mentioned that SPF has played a significant role in Bangladesh’s economic and social development, and that this project has gained a good reputation among Bangladesh government leadership as well as the public. The project is entering commissioning stage at present, and efforts have been made to deliver the project as soon as possible.
