On March 5, 2013, Chairman of the Board of COMPLANT Ltd.Zou Baozhong signed two EPC agreements of Omo Kuraz 2&3 Sugar Cane plants with Ethiopian Sugar Cane Company.

Ambassador Xie Xiaoyan and Counselor Qian Zhaogang of Chinese Embassy, Chairman of Complant Group Liu Xueyi and Director of Treaty and Law Department of Ethiopian government Wassihun attended the signing ceremony. Ambassador Xie Xiaoyan, Chairman Liu Xueyi and General Manager of Ethiopian Sugar Cane Company Abay delivered speeches respectively to congratulate the success of cooperation.

The project of Omo Kuraz 2&3 includes 2 plants with the capability to process 12,000 ton of sugar cane per day, the equipments as well as affiliated equipment for agricultural irrigating. The total amount of the project is USD 682,000,000.
